The importance of access to information to achieve sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean - Side Event

Within the framework of the second Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development 2018 that will take place in Santiago, from 18 to 20 April at ECLAC headquarters, a side event will be held on: "The importance of access to information to achieve sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean".

The purpose of the side event is to highlight and discuss the importance of access to information, the role of civil society, and in particular of libraries in the implementation of the SDGs and their implementation in local development plans.
